Vanessa graduated from Morgan State University, in Baltimore, Maryland, with her bachelors of science in telecommunications with a concentration in public relations. In May 2015, she received her masters of art in publications design from the University of Baltimore. While studying at Morgan State, she started planning travel for family and friends in need of a break from reality, and the rest was history.

 

Vanessa decided to utilize her skills in travel by providing travel consultations to others in the university while attending classes to become a Certified Travel Agent. Knowing that there are unfriendly destinations for the lesbian and gay community, she decided that her concentration will be on providing travel arrangements from welcoming and affirming vendors and destinations.
